Grants Offered:
Applications for grants up to $2,000 are available for the 2023-2024 season.
Criteria & Eligibility:
Just1Action grants are designed to help fund youth-led sustainably-focused projects on the South Shore of Massachusetts (as defined by the towns a part of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce). Individuals, community organizations or youth not-for-profit. organizations are eligible to apply. Projects must take place and serve the South Shore.
Terms:
Projects must be completed within one calendar year of the grant award date. By accepting the Just1Action Youth sustainability grant, you agree to showcase your project during any Eco Fest 2024 events and will also grant Just1action. to use your project for promotional purposes.

About Just1Action
Just1Action was born out of the Just1Bag2020 movement, a family project that went global in 2020 showing that everyone can make a difference. As we grew and expanded Just1Action was created and is the registered 501(c)3 organization with three distinct programs:
Just1Bag2020 - promoting being part of the solution and picking up any litter you see wherever you can. Just1Bag2020 supports corporate and group litter picks, as well as daily individual action.
South Shore Eco Fest - an annual festival run in Cohasset, MA to promote local sustainable businesses and non profits, showing the eco friendly living is easy, simple, and fun.
143 Exchange - based out of Cohasset, MA 143 Exchange is joining the Just1Action non profit group. and we couldn't be more excited. As a unique program 143 Exchange's mission is to promote sustainable fashion in the South Shore MA communities, through cooperative clothing and footwear exchanges.

Application Deadline closes.

Grant Review process by the J1A Board Members takes place.
Grant selections are made and recipients are notified.
Just1Action Grant Winners present their project plans and updates at EcoFest events in Spring 2024. All grant recipients must complete projects within 12 months of receiving funding.
